Affirmations for Stress and Anxiety
Anxiety is the body treating a maybe as a certainty. The heart rate, the tight chest, the mind running the worst case in high definition — all of it is a response to something that hasn't happened and mostly won't. Knowing that doesn't stop it. Nothing you know stops it, which is exactly why it's so tiring.
Affirmations work on anxiety from a different angle than reasoning. They're short enough to say while your breathing is off, and they give the mind something to do other than rehearse. "This feeling will pass; it always has" isn't an argument. It's a rope. You hold it until the wave goes down, and the wave does go down.
Use them with the breath, not instead of it. Say one on the exhale, four or five times, and let the sentence set the pace. Stress and anxiety is the topic the app's own feedback asks for most, which tells you something about how many people are holding the same rope tonight.

How to use these
Pick one, not ten
Read the list once, then choose the sentence that stings a little. That is the one about stress and anxiety you actually need.
Say it, don't scan it
Out loud, in the present tense, a few times. Repetition is the whole mechanism; reading is not.
Put it where you will see it
Save the image and set it as your lock screen or share it as a story. The drawing does half the remembering.
Come back tomorrow
Heart the ones that land so they collect in one place, and open today's when you wake up. A week of this beats an hour of it.
